Follow the steps below to update an Apple iPhone / iPad email account Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) settings.
iOS Version: 11.3.1+
- Home Button
- Password & Accounts
- Tap Account to update (Under Accounts)
- Tap Account email address >
- Tap SMTP mail.tangohosting.com > (Under Outgoing Mail Server)
- Tap mail.tangohosting.com On > (Under Primary Server)
- Outgoing Mail Server
- Host Name: mail.tangohosting.com
- User Name: Enter your full email address.
- Password: Enter your email account password.
- Use SSL: Turn On
- Authentication: Password
- Server Port: 587
After tapping Done, the account will verify. If the account verification is unsuccessful, retype your password and tap Done (The password is case sensitive).
